the good news

There was a news delivered 2000 years ago that is so amazing… When it is heard it changes every aspect of daily life as it is known. It cannot be unheard once we hear the truth of it.

It causes many to reorganize their lives and live in a completely different way.

The crazy thing… it still has the same effect on us today as it did when the message was first delivered.

What kind of news would make us do that?

"The Good News or Gospel Grace Message of Jesus Christ” is The Kingdom of Heaven message of love, peace, forgiveness and mercy to us all. The message Jesus gave when he came to earth is the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. You can live and experience a life with God and enter the Kingdom life now and it's available to all who want it, just by simply placing our trust in Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross.

In other words you don't have to wait till you die to go to heaven. We get to live the Kingdom life now.

But what is this grace thing all about? (from Webster's dictionary)

a : unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification

b : a virtue coming from God

c : a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine assistance

So if Grace is the unearned and undeserved favor of God. There is nothing we can do to earn this grace… IT’S FREE. All you have to do is receive it!

The Good News is built on a relationship with Jesus Christ and Himself alone.

When we come to a knowledge of what Jesus did for us on the cross, who He really is and why He was sent to us and this world. It changes us, it transforms us out of our temporal mindset and replaces it with an eternal mindset. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith—For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed.

You read in the book of John 3:16 that God so loved in such a manner the satan's world, so that He gave His Son, the Only Begotten Risen Christ, in order that whoever is Continuously by his choice Committing for the Result and Purpose of Him, should not perish, but definitely should, by his choice, be Continuously Having Eternal Life.

[Committing means putting your entire being under the orders of another, Jesus]

It’s the most beautiful FREE gift ever and all you have to do is:

TAKE it

OPEN it

RECEIVE it

APPLY it to your LIFE

Jesus died on the cross and paid the blood sacrifice to restore humanity back to a relationship with God the Father.

You can have this relationship and eternal life by simply believing upon Jesus and placing our faith and trust  in the finished work He did for us on the cross.

This salvation gift is eternal life... but it also reaches into our daily lives right here right now.

With a Sense of Belonging and knowing where we are going, what we are doing and that you are saved eternally by Jesus' finished work and you are a Child of the Most High God.

What is eternal life?

  1. Jesus said, "and this is Eternal Life, that they should be knowing you continuously, the alone true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent out. John 17:3 (The Pure Word)

  2. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give US the the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6 (NKJV)

  3. So we find eternal life in knowing Christ Jesus and you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. (Galatians 3:26)

We keep reading and hearing about FAITH… What is this all about?

The dictionary describes faith as the “complete trust of confidence in someone or something.” The Biblical definition is similar in Hebrews 11:1 we read that faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not yet see. So both describe it as confidence in a particular outcome not yet seen.

Becoming what people call saved… is when you come to a knowledge of who Jesus is and you place him as Lord of your life.  Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God and

2000 years ago he died on the cross for our brokenness (sins), was buried and three days later he rose from the dead.

Ephesians 2:5-7 (NIV)

Says we were made alive in Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

When you become a Christian, that means you decide to follow Christ and his teachings of Grace, Truth, Love and Peace. Serving light, we become His ambassador here on earth. So we read the Bible, Gods Word and the commands that lead to life. Then we share that with the world.

He is the risen messiah that came to give his life so we can have life.

This is not only Good News but Great News. It’s the time of a new covenant, it’s a new deal on the table for all of us, Jesus and his grace and truth is the greatest gift ever given to mankind.

In 2 Corinthians 5:17 we read if anyone is in Christ (believes and has faith), the new creation has come (you are a new creation): The old (you) has gone, the new (you) is here!

Jesus said: I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. (John 12:46)

Our Father God is the most powerful, incredible being who will ever exist and is worthy of our praise and worship. He wants you to come home, be with HIM and have a loving relationship with HIM. He is gathering his family and He is calling you to be part of it.

Will you accept Jesus Christ as your LORD and savior today?

This is the most important decision you will ever make.

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Isaiah 55:6 NIV

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:13 NIV

All of us here at Speed of Faith love you and care for you. We invite you today to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and experience a personal relationship with God our Father.
